Reflection:

This was an interesting assignment as I had never made a brochure before. When choosing what resource to make a tutorial for I figured it was best to choose something I was familiar with so I could easily explain it. I used Google Slides to make the brochure with the most difficult part being how I would divide the slide into the three parts used to make a brochure. I ended up making three text box columns and messing with the width till all three were the same width and took up the whole paper. To get the back to the brochure I used a second slide and repeated the process with the columns. The second hardest part was getting screenshots as my computer is an older model that can't really take screen shots. I worked around this by taking screenshots on my phone and then emailing the images to myself and downloading them to my computer. But overall I would say it was a valuable experience for me as a librarian I will be my job to create a variety of different types of tutorials and advertisements. So being a jack of all trades of sorts will undoubtedly come in handy in the future.
